My RemoteQueue Success Story: Arielle

We’re continuing with our blog series, highlighting RemoteQueue success stories from those within the Instant Teams community who, through patience and grit, landed a remote work opportunity!

Today, hear from Arielle, an administrative remote team member, as she shares how she put time and energy into her Instant Teams profile and trusted the process as she waited for her remote work match to come along.

What was the process like landing a job through Instant Teams?

It took a few weeks for everything to be finalized, but, overall, the process was very smooth. The Instant Teams rep who was working with me had great communication and kept me updated throughout the entire process. I had a virtual interview with them, then a second interview (aka “introview”) with the client, and the last step was an introduction to the company!

How did you stay encouraged while you waited in RemoteQueue?

I felt like I was checking my dashboard and my email every day to see if I had any bites! I just reminded myself that good things come to those who wait patiently and that if I trusted the process, the right company would come along!

How was it worth the wait?

I feel that the way Instant Teams makes their selections is not only good for their clients, but also beneficial for the workers who get selected. The way everything is designed to work ensures that you will be placed with a company that truly is a good fit for your skills. Understanding how Instant Teams works make the waiting process a lot more bearable.

What are the best things about working remotely?

Working remotely is truly a blessing. The added flexibility and being able to have more time in your day by not having a commute is very beneficial. Also, working remotely gives you the opportunity to have more control over your work-life balance. Another positive is working remotely doesn’t limit you to where you need to be when you are working. My team has employees in various states and countries!

What’s one piece of advice you’d give to someone looking to land a job through Instant Teams / waiting to get hired in RemoteQueue?

I think it’s really important to take the time to go through every single skill in that section of the profile. It took me over an hour to go through the entire list, but by doing so, it made it easier for Instant Teams to match my skills to what the client is looking for.

Bonus advice: Trust the process! Instant Teams has fine-tuned their selection process, so you know that when you are placed, you will be working for a company that truly is the right fit for you!
