Here at Instant Teams, we’re committed to placing members of the military community into remote job opportunities. Reason being, we’re a team of military spouses ourselves, so we understand the real value behind a portable, remote career.
That commitment strongly aligns with the Department of Defense’s Military Spouse Employment Partnership (MSEP) Program—a formal partnership that connects military spouses with hundreds of partner employers who have committed to recruit, hire, promote, and retain military spouses. So the decision to join forces was an inevitable one.
In the fall of 2018, Instant Teams, along with 47 other employers, were featured inductees at the MSEP Partner Induction Ceremony to make the partnership official. This past week, our COO, Erica McMannes, and Director of People Operations, Anne Schons, were able to travel to D.C. for the 2019 MSEP Annual Partner Meeting and celebrate 47 NEW companies being inducted this year.
Ultimately, MSEP employer partners want to hire military spouses. So we encourage you to self-identify on LinkedIn (and GET ON LinkedIn if you are not yet). Tap into what’s being offered to you in terms of remote career resources by creating a comprehensive profile with us at Instant Teams.
Check out the MSEP portal too! When you do, you’ll become searchable by 400+ employers and on your way to landing an opportunity that supports not only you, but also your military family.
(Last year, Erica had the opportunity to sit down with Eddy Mentzer, Associate Director for DoD Family Readiness, and Herrick Ross, Staffing Program Manager of Global Talent Requisition for Starbucks, to talk about how MSEP is changing the script on milspouse employment.
